Most users complained about the ease of use and general UX problems of the first version.
The UI was outdated and robotic.
Searching for keywords/text within the notebooks only resulted in tags being added to pages, making it hard to find notes due to the limited options for tags.
The application stored data inside the phone's memory, resulting in data loss when users switched to a new phone. Additionally, users wanted to access their notes from different devices such as tablets or desktops.
Many users mentioned using their notebooks in collaborative environments, such as students sharing notes or company employees working on projects together, due to a large number of B2B sales to companies for employee gifts.
Create an end-to-end experience for users by designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Introducing Handwriting Recognition:
We have integrated Microsoft Azure Vision Studio for handwriting recognition (HWR). This allows users to easily convert their fully handwritten notes into digital text and search for any keywords within converted texts.

Introducing Cloud:
By enabling data storage in the cloud, users can access their notes or documents from any device simply by logging into their account.
Introducing Team Notebooks:
We have incorporated a fun and smooth way of collaboration! In addition to the ability to export text and documents, users can create team notebooks with multiple users. This allows them to collaborate on the same folder simultaneously, with different roles such as viewer, editor, and admin.
Introducing Documents:
To reach a wider customer base and leverage the application's capabilities, we have created a new section: Documents. This section allows users to scan, store, share, and convert handwritten text from any document they want.
Introducing Subscription Plans:
While there is a free plan that allows users to enjoy features to some extent, subscription plans with cloud and HWR credits are offered for users who are invested. This ensures that users can store documents in the cloud or convert images into text with ease.
